Dirt Oval Points Series

Points series will start when we get back from the holiday. 9/10/10. 5 weeks long with CORR TRUCK, 1/8 Stock ,1/10 dirt open, 1/8 OUTLAW. Points will be awarded for fastest lap in each class for each race night, 15 pts for the winner -1 each place below 1st, for the heats and main. ALL STARTS WILL BE DOUBLE FILE LIVE LOOP ROLLING STARTS with start stripe. Must finish with the car that you start with.(NO BACK UP CARS ALLOWED) Rules stay the same otherwise and if needed will be spot inspections. LETS HAVE SOME FUN. SEE EVERYONE ON THE 10th

i will be there, but will not be able to make all 5.
what will be the entry fees?

They will be $12 for all classes $2 more than usual to cover the cost of the trophies for 1st-3rd.

Corr truck....2WD, 4WD? or combined?

classes will be our usual oval classes= corr truck(2wd only) 1/10 outlaw, 1/8 stock, 1/8 outlaw

Great, I'm going to miss the first two races

with 3 good finishes you could still have good points

how many races do you have to attend to be in the running for awards

Looks like it shouldn't matter how many races you attend, just however many points you have when it's over

i dont think it would be fair to the guys that race all 5 and someone come in that races 2 or 3 win the awards when thay only pay half of the fees but i guess it dont matter does it

If that is the case, I'm gonna miss the first two races because my wife and I are going out of town. I will only be able to race the last three races. If I will not be eligible for a trophy, I will not show up for the final three. I race three classes (possibly four) so the track is going to turn down $108-$144 that I will pay to race the final three.

i dont make the rules i was just asking if there was a set amount of races you have to attend and i hope you can understand what im saying about it is not fair for someone to race half of the races and win or the person that spends 60 dollars get beat and the person that spent only 36 or less im cool with whatever the rules are i was just asking a question of the number of races you have to attend or if that rule was in affect for this points series race that cool

I understand what your saying and I understand your concern. I would show up to all five if I could. I am upset that I don't get to but we had this trip planned since the spring. I just want to try to make a run for a trophy.

cool i just didnt wont people that might not know about rules like that that is the reason im asking if it is in affect on this race cause i wont to attend all just like you but i dont think ill make it to all of them either

I will make the final call on that this week, but i will say what ever it is my goal is to make sure it is fair for every body and the points show like they should at the end. BY EVERYONES PERFORMANCE . But I would like to thank the both of you for bringing this up to make me think on it a little more.

I was so looking forward to racing with you all and first time at the track tonight!! It looks like constant rain coming today but will still be headed that way anyways so will drop in to check things out. Next weekend is a big race in Huntsville, AL so it will be two weeks before I get to come race

As of now we are planning on racing BOTH track on Sat. OFFROAD 12NOON / OVAL 6PM. If the rain works with us. I will keep everyone posted and will be calling the one that I have #'s for.

Dirt Oval 2 Night points series scheduled for 10/1 & 10/2. Post up on whos comming and what class so I can have everything taken care of on my end ahead of time. Would like to have a seperate class for nitro LM & 1/10 EDM if we can get enough.
